BELIEFS
Some of the priorities that drive us in our desire to help people follow Jesus include:
Here to Serve You!
Brown Street is blessed to have a committed team of gifted pastors
to serve your spiritual needs.
Pastor Greg Linscott, Senior Pastor E-Mail Pastor Linscott
Pastor Linscott was raised in Christian home, the son of a US Navy sailor father and a Filipina mother. He began his ministry at Brown Street in January 2018 and has 20 years of pastoral experience, also having served congregations in Minnesota, Maine, and Iowa.

His desire is to make the Bible readily understood, and to make church something that is both practical today and preparing you for a better future. No matter your age, ethnicity, or social category, God speaks to us today through his Word, and Pastor Linscott’s priority is that you would hear, understand, and respond accordingly.

Greg and his wife Jennifer are the proud parents of seven children, and have experience in home education and adoption through the foster care system. He is a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots. He currently serves on the Council of 18 for the GARBC and the Council of 8 for the Il-Mo ARBC.

Pastor Eric Lloyd, Assistant Pastor E-Mail Pastor Eric
Eric was born in Alton and grew up attending Brown Street. He oversees Youth and Children’s ministry at Brown Street, and leads the Sunday AM Worship Team. He has served here since August 2015.

Eric has a burden for the younger generations to experience the love of God in their own lives and commit to follow Him. Today’s children and teens are faced with incredible peer pressure and have the world at their fingerprints. Eric’s goal for young people is for them to see God’s plan for their lives and yield their lives to Him. When that occurs, it is amazing what peace and joy comes to those who trust in God.
Eric and his wife Kimberly have two daughters. He enjoys rooting for the Cardinals, visiting National Parks, and reading trivia about US Presidential history. He currently serves on the board of Camp Manitoumi and the Il-Mo ARBC Youth Committee.
